Placeholder copy — replace with the real client story
Summit Shield opened in 2018 with one truck, one license, and a belief that honest inspections beat hard selling every time. What started as a father-and-son route through a few Boulder, CO neighborhoods grew into a full crew serving hundreds of homeowners — young families, landlords, retirees, and the occasional restaurant kitchen — all held to the same standard. We still inspect every property ourselves, still photograph every entry point, and still answer our own phone.

Got Questions? We've Got Answers Right Here!
Yes. We use targeted, low-toxicity products applied by licensed technicians, placed where pests travel rather than sprayed broadly through living space. Your tech will tell you exactly what he is using and how long to stay off treated surfaces — usually until dry, about 30 minutes.
For routine interior and exterior service, no. Kids and pets should stay off treated surfaces until they dry. Specialty work like bed bug heat treatment does require you to be out of the house for a few hours, and we will tell you well in advance.
We come back and re-treat at no charge, no argument. That guarantee is part of every recurring plan — if something shows up before your next scheduled visit, call us and we will get a technician out.
Fully licensed by the Colorado Department of Agriculture and carrying general liability insurance. Every technician who enters your home is background-checked, uniformed and certified for the products they apply.
Most homeowners notice a sharp drop within 48 to 72 hours, and activity often spikes briefly first as pests move through treated areas. Rodent and termite work runs on a longer timeline because it involves removal, sealing and follow-up verification.
Quarterly is the sweet spot for general protection in Boulder — it lines up with the seasonal cycle when ants, spiders and wasps push indoors. One-time treatments are available, and severe infestations start with a two- or three-visit sequence before moving to maintenance.
Boulder and the surrounding communities: Gunbarrel, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, Erie and Longmont. Same-day inspections are usually available in Boulder proper, and next-day everywhere else.
Your inspection is free and ends with a written price before any work begins — no hourly surprises and no charge for a re-treatment between visits. Recurring plans cost less per visit than one-time service, and there are no long contracts.
